I just bought an '03 Silverstone at Hoehn Honda in Carlsbad, CA on Friday, but it was sold to them by some local Mitsubishi dealer I believe.

Does this car look familiar to anyone here? If so, I have a few questions.



It's an '03 Silverstone with 22k miles on it. As far as I can tell, it's got JDM headlights, red H's, a non-stock clutch of some sort... Please help me out if this looks familiar.

It has most definitely been more heavily modified (seems like probably SC of some sort). If so, I need to know. I'm having trouble with the dealer and they're insisting it was not modified despite the non-stock clutch, tap into the FPR line, non-stock fuel pump, headlights, etc. There are more signs as well, but if this is someone's former car that'd be a lot easier

must have misread it...

you have already bought the car and signed paperwork. what are you trying to do with figuring out how it was modded? did you run into a problem already? the dealership has already sold you the car, its not like they will take it back

Actually quite the opposite. They were very willing to take it back. Instead we've agreed on a deal.

It appears the car was modded and now the fuel pump has died, but they are replacing the pump, checking the whole car over (again) and I have been assured that everything is completely covered.

Also, thanks to my bargaining skills, they are giving me the OEM lip and trunk spoiler installed for free!

I'll get it back tomorrow and update. I'm still curious who the owner is though.

yeah that was my old s2k. I turbo/ntirous/supercharged/raped it to ****. Should done a compression test, #4 cylinder has a hole the size of a grapefruit in it and I peed on the seats.
