remove stock airbox¿

Default remove stock airbox¿

need to know how to pull out the stock air box part that goes into the fender kind of behind passenger side headlight. it like goes down and does a U into the fender dont know how to get it out

it's easy ... just take a good look at it. i 4got how mine came out but it took me like 5 minutes.

easy take off the front bumper look at the front of the tire and straight intot he wheel well towards the engine bay you will see a black screw remove that and the airbox should come out easily. there is a plastic peice under the car that that screw is holding to blocking you from being able to drop the air box out

****... didn't think you'd have to take off the front bumper. lol been that long.

anyway, i think this works the same as a CAI. you have air from the outside beeing intaked and you need not worry about hugh puddles.

yea i dont think you have to take off the bumber, just pull the plastic skid plate out a lil and the wheel well out a lil. This should make just barely enough room for the box to come out. But it takes some force to do it w/ the bumper on.

not sure if you need to take off the bumber but thats the way me and my buddy did to mine. plus its not hard to take off and put back on. just take the plugs out of the top and unscrew it from the wheel well
