Oh, I'm sorry that is the new Civic Type R. If the CTR makes it here it better have the performance to make up for the style!!! Come to think of it, I hated the EK's when I first saw them. Oh well, I'll just have to eat my words.

Ugly taillights, 2 foot long hood ugly rear wing. It dont have that mean HURT me look that the 92-95 hatch has. Has that happy go lucky Rainbow Fairy car look.

 

what the hell was honda thinking when they designed it, it is damm ugly!!! the coupe w/ a spoiler looks decent, but this si? guys it's ****, what are you gonna mod it w/ either? just buy a focus svt if you like that "look" personally i dont like it and i thing the ek was the best looking hatch ever. this new si sucks!!!! whats w/ the p/w ratio? it sucks, redesign the prelude and make it lighter and more power then sell it for 24k like it was before. i'd buy it

 

Not really sure how much I like it, but aren't those spoon/vision mirrors rather small?

 

the CTR Touring car looks alright too.

the wing is fine ..
since it is needed for competition ... IT IS A RACE CAR .. not a rice out streetable civic ...

i believe the werid shape and high roof line should create a lot of lift and turbulence in the back .. a huge wing is a must ...


the spoon civic is nice.. the paintjob is fine (consider every spoon car have this paint scheme)... the fuel inlet is werid though ... hard to refuel with such a horizontal angle ..

Well I finally saw the Si in person today. I am going to see if I can skip out on part of work to go drive it

 

the spoon one is just plain ugly, i have no idea what honda was thinking, and alot of cars have gotten ugly since 2000 models came out, but honda is beginning to join that area, however i like the touring one and for some reason like the aluminum spoiler on the touring one......since it's a RACE CAR. i'd have to kick my own *** putting that on a streetable one tho.
i think the worst looks of the new Si is the headlights (if u notice every year it gets a new "facelift" and the headlights get pulled back even more) and it looked like a DAMNED MINIVAN GRR. thing i don't like in general bout the 7th gen civic's is the coupe's *** is too big, and now the HB came out and now the *** is too short with no hood and HUGE headlights.
i personally like all 92-95 (coupe's and hb's, not so much sedan's) civics,
don't really like 96-98 cuz of the headlights/taillights and bumpers, but i absolutely love 99-00 coupe's and hb's.

the new Si is growing on me for some reason, but i still pull myself back sayin EWWWWWW

I am with you...I have always liked the new civics; I always liked the ek's too-and I remember everyone hating the looks when they came out.

 

i don't really care how it looks (i guess to point), if the chassis is stiff, rust free and clean add to that a well preforming suspension + drivetrain...

who cares, if it looks like a van or suv, if it out handles most cars then its approved...

all cars are cool, longest they meet above criteria....


Matrix/Focus/Aztec look is cool, cause it looks very laid back, grocery getter like


old school Fiat/Alfa shifter is approved

seats are hmmm...


plus it comes with very liberal, Dutch girl....

I didn't like the EK hatches when they came out but that grew on me and, guess what, the EP hatch is growing on me too. Only with the CTR 17's and skirts though.

And would it kill you to get a pic of that liberal Dutch girl with her hand on the ****!!

 

I try to let it grow on me because I love Honda so much.....but the new styling techniques of Honda are scaring me lately...

 

Everyone hates the color scheme... that's the only part I like!
