f4i shock on an f3
Do i have to modify anything to fit an f4i shock on to a 98 F3? Does it bolt right in? Do i need any brackets from the f4i?
Any help would be awesome. Thanks.

I've posted this same question about an F2. It should bolt right in...but there are 2 problems. The rear is raised due to the f4i shock and this causes:
A: your bike not be as stable on the stock kickstand, you should get an f4i kickstand as well
B: the geometry of your bike will be off due to the rear being raised higher than stock and the front staying at stock height.
Good luck, keep us posted

I don't know a ton about motorcycles...but you may be able to raise the front triple tree. Enough to offset the raise in the back? I'm not sure - depends on your bike I guess.
The Kickstand does bolt on, with one catch. The little metal nub that you push the kickstand down with your toe....its on the wrong side on an f4i. So that needs to be cut of and re-welded if you really care enough to do so. This is the case on an f2, an f3 might be a different story.
