i am very happy with honda manual transmission fluid in my si transmission. i think the conclusion of the 30 page thread on the subject was something to the effect that all the manual trans fluids are essentially the same.

You can contact someone with Rocket motorsports, Rocket has a magic blend of fluid that gets rid of grinds and makes shifting smoother. (www.m24x.com)

You can go to m24x.com or I think there are a few dealers on H-T including Rocket himself. I use the fluid and it's made a great difference, had a 1st to 2nd grind when shifting at high rpm's now its gone.

i used gm synchromesh. if i had known that pennzoil was about $10 cheaper a bottle and the same thing I would have gotten it instead. what are you going to do though you know. GM SYNCHROMESH or the PENNZOIL SYNCHROMESH are the best in my opinion.

I use 10w30 too, it's fine. As long as you push the clutch all the way in, I don't see how you would have any problems shifting.
