1996 Civic DX Hatch
185XXX miles
Only mods are new speakers and head unit, 35% tint, GSR mesh wheels

I purchased this car in the fall of 2003 with ~140k on it. The car is currently located in Maryland, I go to school in Virginia but if youd like to see the car just ask and ill be glad to make a trip home or arrange someone to show it to you. Recent services were new ignition (distributor, rotor, cap, plugs...etc) last winter, brakes were done not too long before that. The clutch assembly, flywheel (resufaced), slave and master cylinder were replaced over the summer, however i believe the car needs a new transmission because it slips pretty bad after driving for a while. The exterior is pretty clean, but has 185k so its obviously not perfect. Interior is close to as clean as they come, minor blemishes.

Transmission will need to be replaced sooner than later, so anyone willing to do that has a good daily driver on their hands. Or its a great swap candidate. Motor runs fine except for transmission though, doesnt burn any oil.

okay guys, heres the deal. The title is in both my moms name and my name, and is in the bank. She leaves for thursday i believe for europe. In order to sell it you have to notarize it, which may not be able to happen this weekend with her out of town because she has to sign it also. that. If it cant be sold this weekend just let me know if you would still like to look at it, otherwise it will be sold next weekend for sure.

Im trying to get a buddy to take more pictures still, i apologize for the wait on selling it at 2000, i think thats a steal if you are willing to swap it or put a new tranny in. I have thoght about putting it up for auction, however i dont like doing that, so right now the best offer is going to get it.

I am waiting to hear from my mom about the title, if someone would like to come see it this weekend, purchase it, and wait until we can notarize the sale thats fine, or you guys can just cme see it. I apologize for the inconvenience, i will update everyone on the status of the title as soon as i can. Zen was going to run a carfax report, i really do not know what it says since i did not do one before i bought it. let me know if you would like to see the vin for a carfax.
