Looks like electronic VSS is needed.

That is what you need but its from the wrong chassis, you need a '92 up Civic or 94 up Integra VSS to fit your CRX tranny properly.

Thanks there, crxtreme89 - this item appears to fit into the tranny
itself, what wire would have to go between the gauge cluster itself
and this VSS that you showed me there from E-Bay?
Some people can surf that E-Bay like nobody's business . . .

Getting closer here . . . . LOL

Have saved that page to my "Favorites" - had seen it before, but last
year. Once I can get the piece on E-Bay there, I can go to Honda and
get the wire connection/harness for it, I'm certain. Thanks guys . . . . .

Still running the D16A6 (210,000) in there, btw - fixing up a ZC 1.6
SOHC to drop in its place - everything should still work as I'm keeping
the Si tranny.

I don't know where to get the wires from, but that is the part for the tranny.

Would this be the same exact item as you'd shown listed
previously? . . . it appears to be in a bit better condition, if so -
