not sure if this belongs here if not please move.
I have a friend who wants to get rid of his DC for A grand cool right? No, there has to be a catch. The shell has body damage
, pretty bad in my opinion. The damage is on both the driverside and pass. side. Most of the damage on the passenger is on the door and the rear quarter panel(mostly large dings in a wave-like pattern) and just dents on the door. The driverside is a lot better with the same type of wave-effect in the quarter but the door is better
. Overall the exterior is in bad shape but as far as the interior is concerned not too bad it has the tan leather and just needs a driver seat since it's torn.
That's about it he said he would also throw in a Apexi N1 exaust

but theres is still a significant amount of damage on the rear quarters. He said he knows a guy who can fix it cheap but i know that would be his price not mine...i don't want to get stuck with a shell i'm forking out another G or so on body damage alone and it still needs a motor

Hard to say w/o pics, but if its a lot of damage to the rear 1/4 panel than it may not be worth it. You may be able to pull them out and bondo. If you are set on getting it then see if he will take $700 or maby even $500.
yea 1g for a shell with body damage is a rip off imo
if it had a motor in it already then thats a diff story
i almost bought a 94 ls running and on the road with quarter panel and body damage for 500 bucks

A grand for a shell is a rip. I just bought a 96 SE (came with a non-ripped leather interior) that didnt run but with the engine/tranny and it only needs a good and the front crossmember to be pulled out for $500. It runs great after the timing belt too. Look around longer, you'll find something in that price-range. You'll probably have 2grand into that shell before it even has a motor, not a good deal at all.
a G note is a little much for a shell in the condition that it is in. i got my eg hatch for 200 but it has a some damage to the rear driver side corner where the tail light would go. but i know someone who does body work. its your call man but listen to what these members say. there just looking out.
