Why not jst bite the bullet and buy some aftermarket valves, there stronger and better than those skinny type r's.

First off what are your goals of the motor? I'll be running Type R valves on a highly built 2.1l motor, If you do a search theres plenty of people using ITR valves pushing upto 9.5k with no problems.
