custom exhaust-what size piping??

custom exhaust-what size piping??

I have a crx with a DOHC ZC engine. I bought a ractive axle back exhaust off of a friend, the piping from the axle to the muffler is 2.5 inches. I was wondering how big to make the midsection of the exhaust, im not running a cat so from the header to the axle. I have an HP Racing 4-2-1 header. Do you think that 2.5 inch piping would be too big?

I wouldn't use piping that large on that motor.

2 1/4 is good size.
