Im intrested to see a dyno comparison between a log and ram on like a 400whp setup.
I think the inline pro would hang with the best of them and be a very cheap/reliable setup.

i have read the thread before, but i have never watched the movie til now. After watching it, it looks like they had a dumptube for the ramhorn but no dumptube for the log manifold? I think thats gonna make a significant difference, even i they put a ghetto block off plate to deflect it from....i dont even know from watching the movie.

Maybe they addressed that part of it in the thread?

People have made 600+whp on a log manifold, hell even a drag/revhard/cast manifold before. If all you want is 300whp, id save the money and buy a log/cast manifold and invest in a good fuel system (ie hondata/Neptune with a good tune).

just because you can get to 600whp with a log doesnt mean its the most efficient way of getting there. You will me able ot meet your goals much easier with a ramhorn the log simply cant flow well enough in the higher rpms compared to a tubular...

like i said earlier, and apparently nobody understands it or maybe they addressed the issue in the other thread, but there was NO dumptube on the car when they put on the log manifold. That will make a big difference and will probably make the difference between the 2 quite different. Im not sayin the ramhorn wont make more as Im sure it will, but I doubt it would make as much as it did, if it was done with a dumptube on both manifolds.

I think the blox/inline pro maniflods will hit 300hp but I think there will be some slight lag with a ramhorn but a lil more top end. BUT with D-series and LS motors most people rev to 6.9k - 7.5k so a ramhorn might not be the best choice. I think there shloud be a test or something with non-vtec motors running to 7.5krpm

Dont know what you talking about, my log manifold I use to have 343hp@9psi 1.8 liter gsr. Worked fine for me, When going past 500 though I probably would switch to something else other than a log anything else I would just stay with a log unless I care about looks then the ramhorn definely looks better
