spray painting a lip kit? who has tryed/seen it?
Well i was going to try to get a can of the color match paint at the dealer in white EP3 white what ever that is and paint my lip kit... now how crappy will this look, crappy as in good from a distance but once you are right up to the car will look like ****? or just look like **** altogether.
My lip is spray painted. Looks alright, doesn't shine though and chips easily. I'm getting it painted correctly after winter is over.

make sure you prime it after you scuff it w/scuff pad, and clean w/ solvent, so the white has a good base and color underneath wont bleed through. Use nice thick even coats from side to side. After your done with the color let it sit until it flashes...45 min. or so, and clear coat leaving a few minutes in between each coat

i think what KraZEtEggIE was trying to say was to save up a little money, get it all painted right the first time and then put it on. that way you wont have to worry about rock chips as much

well there will be no more money after this, i dono if you are in college or are going to college but when you are there you spend your money fast when you dont work, and what ever i have left over goes to a 401k
I said i wasnt spray painting it anymore i decided i was going to buy a cheap 20$ paint gun from harbor freight and have my friend that works at a body shop do it for me, it may not look the best because of the gun but i figure it will shine better and will last longer
