OKay I have searched through all the archived posts on the ECT sensor and alot of it is mixed so its hard to get a definite answer, so I figured I'd ask you guys. I have a 97 H22A4 converted to OBD-1.

1. Where is the ECT sensor??
2. What wires are connected to it??
3. Would the fact that I'm throwing a code 6 be the reason my temp gauge is not working due to faulty wiring or failed sensor??

Any info that could help me solve this problem would be greatly appreciated.

 

temp gauge and ect sensors are NOT the same.
the ect is located the same place as all other honda ones, in teh head under the distributor. its the 2 wire plug, the one wire plug is the gauge.

use wiring diagrams to confirm the color of the wires.

 

I dont have wiring diagrams, where can I get them at??
