adding horsepower
I have a 99 ex 5-speed and im looking for more ways to add horsepower. I have a CAI, underdrive pulleys, power crank pulleys, fuel rails, EVO2 catback exhaust, DC-Sports ceramic headers, GReddy spark plugs, and performance spark plug wires. I don't want to spend the money to get it boosted yet and I don't want to spend over $300 on each individual part. So anything that would help me add horsepower would be great.
P.S.: Im adding Horsepower because i have a bet with a buddy that i will beat his camaro in the 1/4 mile by June 1st.
Hondas will always be better than chevys.

look around on the internet and see if you can find a place that sells camshafts for your car. if you can get a cam shaft you can do a port and polish, bored out IM and TB.
How much does something like this usually cost? I was hoping that there were some more bolt ons that would work. also is it possible to make the SOHC a DOHC? If so how would i go about doing this and how much would this cost?

Here's everything I can think of for the F23:
- I/H/E
- TB
- high-flow cat
- pullies
- cam gear
- adjustable FPR
- fuel rail
- camshaft regrind
- various ignition upgrades
- SAFC / VAFC
- ECU reprogram from JET
Everything else, you basically have to dive into the motor to do. This include a port, and polish, etc.

Either a head swap, or full swap.

a V6 accord does beat a v6 camaro but it will be hard for the I4 to do it unless you do something drastic like nitrous or H22a swap. Problem is 150HP<200HP and the weight difference works in the accord's favor but you gotta get closer to his output since there is only about 200lbs difference between the cars
1998 LX V6 goes 0-60 in about 7.2 sec versus about 7.4 for the V6 camaro. Quarter mile times are 15.5 versus 15.8.
The stock I4 takes about 2 seconds longer to get to 60 and through the quarter
