injectors wont fit?

injectors wont fit?
I just got a set of msd 395cc injectors and they wont fit...they fit around on the outside for the clip but on the inside of the injector there is a little piece like it could be used for a guide but i really dont know if it really does anything...cuz if i cut that out, the clip will fit right on there...
