Default SFWD Gen2 GSR

Hey folks, I'm in the process of buidling a 93 G2 GSR, and just wanted to share the build. My pockets are only so deep, so the project will probably take the next year to complete. As of now there are alot of plans for the car, and things are moving slowly along. Moving into a new house while starting a build is not alot of fun. So stay tuned for what I hope will be the world's fastest G2 Integra.

Stay tuned for pics as the project starts.

I've always wanted to see a G2 teg in SFWD or even HR. Good luck man. I know the 1st state guys had one or two and a guy that I met at E-town 2 yrs. ago that was going 10.90's w/a straight LS in his (car was in HR trim though, lexan etc.).

Well this car will be far from HR trim. We are retaining as much of the stock car as we can. I was trying to get the chassis guys to even design the rolcage around the back seat, not that it would be useable. And I too have seen the G2's from FSmoto. I have actually bought stuf from them for the car, ie. Full-Race Traction Bars.

Good luck with your project sir. I was building my 2nd gen with the same exact goals in mind but then I came across a Civic coupe chassis that I think will be a little bit easier to build. The 2nd gen is now going to be a weekend/carpet queen.

Well we're finally getting started on this project. Although we've gone alittle different way then we had originally expected. New motor program....

Gutting the car.

The Motor, Or I should say the block, we're using the K24 Block/K20 Head

Do they make K20 mounts for 2nd gen Integras now? Or is it custom?

Best of luck on the build!

Unfortunately NHRA has limited the turbo size for K20s in SportFWD , turbo limit is now 66mm inducer wheel, 67.36 or close to that at the inlet

I was just agreeing with you and stating the rules BUT here they are anyways

"Page 29 (eff 06/21/06)
Supercharger, Turbocharger: Add “K Series Engines limited to a maximum 66mm turbo, where the maximum compressor housing inducer diameter is 67.37 mm, measured at the point where the leading edge of the compressor wheel meets the housing” after the fifth sentence in the first paragraph."

The mount kit is not out yet, hopefully it will be soon *hint hint*, *cough hasports*.

And yes we know about the 66mm turbo rule, thats the reason we're taking our time to build it. Making power from the K is easy

Well I should have more pictures in a couple days, sumped tank should be done soon, as well as the 10pt. cage, window net, and parachute mount. I also just ordered a set of KSport's 36 way adjustable with custom spring rates.
