WEIRD left side brake light wont come on, bulb is good, but right and center light works?!?!?!

WEIRD left side brake light wont come on, bulb is good, but right and center light works?!?!?!
when I step on brake only the right and third brake light comes up. its not the bulb because the bulb lights up with I turn the light switch once, its suppose to get brighter when you step on brake but it doesnt, switch left and right bulbs but same problem so it aint the bulb. anyone half this weird problem

i actually have the same problem...i havent done anything about it yet though....dad says its just the bulb...but you said its not...so bump for some help to me too

Check the socket for corrosion. You have an 1157 bulb in there too right?
Also check the wiring harness. Those tend to get rusted/corroded after a while.
