I just got a letter from Acura saying that I can get a free 75k-150k tune up from the dealership. I was wondering if the warranty would be void if I didn't have stock spec engine parts? I don't have the oem intake so I duno what they're going to say.

 

when i bought my used 00 LS, they didnt give me the warranty because it had a intake on it. but i dont know.

 

isnt that just a emmisions check up, i dont think they actually change the plugs do they?

 

well if all your worried about is the intake then whynot just get one of your friends stock air box and jsut put it on there for now. because my friends also wasnt covered because of an intake. the dealership just wants to find the smallest excuse to void. hope you can find a stock air box.

 

they will void it any way they can...they want money...just put the stock air box on...

 

Will they void if the valve cover is painted red and there are some tubes that lead no where and the car sounds like a harley davidson?

 

A honda should never sound like a harley. Harleys are badass like BRAHHHHBADABADABADABDA Honda's are like BROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM BROOOOOOOOOOOM

 

there are laws that state unless the part you installed on the car was the cause of the failure, evertying will still be covered under the warranty.
