i recently swapped a d16z6 into my 91 crx and have been running without my ac belt for about a month now..today i put the belt on and now whenever the car is off and the keys are out of the car all of the hvac buttons illumniate when pushed.

The blower does not turn on unless the keys are in and ignition is on, but the lights will light on the buttons no matter if the ignition is on or off?

have you guys seen this? have you heard about this?

 

maybe it was just a coincidence but i don't see how the belt would affect it
