i researched before i purchased my nak hu, and i found some negative comments regarding their reliability. i still went ahead and bought the nak, and hoped for the best. unfortunately, it seems my head unit is toast, after just one year! the head will not recognize that there's a disc inside, i can't even get it to eject. busted after just one year, and i don't even drive the car that much!

 

I am sorry to hear that. I have been doing some research on this head unit lately. I was hoping that some of the issues had been worked out. Is your head unit still under factory warranty? If so, have you checked to see if they will fix it under warranty?

it's not under warranty coz i bought it in hong kong. i tried reseting the hu. it will try to play the cd at first, then it gives up and switches to fm, it won't acknowledge there's a cd inside unless i reset it again

 

I worked at a shop a while ago and we had like 8 naks do that in a week it was brutal. I'd say contact nak, because it could still be under manufacturer warranty.

Otherwise you are pretty much SOL.
