I've been having problems with my clutch ever since i bought my car. First, the clutch felt funny, so i replaced the cable. That helped, but soon after it was really ****** hard. Come to find out the release bearing went out, so i had my buddy pull my trans and replace the disc, pressure plate and release bearing. It felt ****** fantastic for about a month, but now it feels a little hard and gritty. It's not consistent either, from time to time it will feel perfect and other times it feels like ****. I don't know if he greased the bearing prior to installation. Would not greasing the bearing make it do as i described above? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
