FS:// '87 MK2 Jetta coupe VR6 Swapped
This is probably a long shot posting this on a Honda board, but i figured maybe someone knows someone that likes dubs, or even wants one for themselves.. Help a fellow HT'er get back into hondas!
First, ide like to start off by saying whoever buys this car will not be disappointed.
I have the title sitting on my desk waiting to be signed over.
Also.. CLEAN CARFAX.

-One small surface rust spot on the sunroof (shown in pics)
-Dent in the rear quarter panel (shown in pics)
Interior:
-MK3 Jetta cluster with 41k on it
-Front recaro "trophy" seats
-Stock rear seats, have a few stains.. nothing terrible though.
-Custom door pods that hold 2 5 1/4 speakers in each (Kenwoods are currently in there)
-The door panels are a little saggy, Ide have them replaced but again, i dont have time to even start looking for new panels.
Engine:
-1993 Passat motor with 80k miles
_New distributor at the time of the swap
-5 spd tranny, absolutely no grinds.. MINT

-OEM passat exhaust

-New pads
-Cross drilled rear disc
-Car was kept 4 lug for the sleeper look
-ABS was also installed due to the 4 lug
-Powdercoated gloss black OEM bbs wheels with brand new Falken ziex tires
Done in the past 2 weeks:
-Replaced throttle body with a honed out stock one (Originally used a newer Jetta automatic TB, which caused some idle problems)
-Replaced the IACV due to sporadic idle
-Changed oil and filter with Mobil synthetic
-Bought a new front passenger axle, because it is starting to click. I havent had time to change it out, but will be included in the sale.
-Hollowed out the cat
This WHOLE setup has been together for maybe 2 months.
It was just finished and was built with the plans to sell.
THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING MECHANICALLY WRONG WITH THIS CAR.
THE ONLY thing wrong with it is the small dent and the quarter panel and the small rust spot on the sunroof.
Most of the parts used for this car came from the 93 passat that the motor came out of.
Next time i go back to the shop, i can take pics of the actual car.. its sitting outside.
All of the wiring was completely redone. Everything from the engine harness, all the way down to the cluster, the inside lights, all the way back to the tailights. No corners were cut when creating this car.
All the work done to this car was done by VW Parts Unlimited in Lakeland.
They can be reached @ 863 683 3270 ask for JOSE.
PRICE: $4500obo
If you have any other questions, or would like to see pics of a certain something, PM me or email me.
and now on to the pics....
