Default crx bogs at very low rpm's trying to accelerate

i installed a cold air intake and changed cam seal and crank shaft seals and now my crx is bogging very low at low rps, when i try to accelerate from the idle speed it starts bogging down like it is going to stall. i have to run it full throttle to even move then it doesnt even go as quick as it should. i dont understand what the problem could be. please help, thanks.

did you check timing, sound to me like your timing belt marks may be off a tooth or two. double check and get back online.

I'm with boostinaintez on this one. Definitely sounds like you might be off a tooth. Textbook symptoms you're experiencing.

Default easiest way

what would be the easiest way to change the timing, or would i have to take off everything again, like i was changing the belt?

set your bottom crank pullet @TDC on #1 cylinder, check the marks on the cam gear. If it s off, loosen the tensioner, slide the belt off the cam gear and roll your cam slightly to where it lines up. Put everything back on. It helps to have a timing light.

got the cam gear adjusted but timing belt was loose, adjusted timing belt tensioner but it was still loose, checked the crank pulley and it was lined up with the marks and the lines on the timing belt cover, but timing belt was still loose and it was no longer on TDC

okay.. set the crank pulley at top dead center, then loosen the tensioner bolt, check your cam gears and set them up right. make sure when you tighten your belt have the front side of the belt facing towards the front with no slack, then either try to reach the the tensioner where the springs is attached too. i dont know on top of my head right now but its either up or down on the tensioner you push or pull. but you'll be able to tighten the belt.then tighten the tensioner bolt. let us know what happens?
