Default **Testing Waters** JDM B18C Sir-G Longblock

Testing the waters to see what kinda trade deals are out there. I am looking for a mildly built motor (B16-B18-B20) to trade. I am willing to put cash on top if the deals worth it. Lets see whats out there!!

Entertaining cash offers but more looking for semi built motors or stock ITR longblock. (plus cash on my end)

The motor was also just gone through to make sure everything was in good shape.
Complete Longblock
New Timing Belt
Water Pump
Hondata manifold gasket
AEBS cam seal
New OEM honda head gasket
All sensors are there and intact
Motor Is CLEAN$$$

No distributor

I will get pics if neccessary, but I don't think that JDM motors have vins. Just the serial number thats smamped below the B18C. I don't believe that number does any good in the US.

I am taking offers as far as cash goes, It's a JDM motor that has never breathed us air, so mileage can't really be determined, aside from what the importers say. probly 35-50k

ok. why do you want a b16 when have a b18c? why did you change the headgasket if they motor was just shipped over here? most importers hand pick good motors before they send them over here especially if they are b18c. you have all those new parts in it, but want to trade it already?

I did not buy the motor strait from a importer. The motor was sold to me...and like you I don't trust anyone so I had the motor check out before I put it in my car. After seeing everyone selling Built motors I deciced not to dump 2k bucks into one, and rather see if someone was looking for a stock motor and some cash on top.

I would trade my B18c for a b16b.......(wouldn't you?)

I have a delt with a lot of people on this sight and ebay. If you don't trust me or any other private seller, Go pay what the imprters are selling B18C motors for. (1800+)

Thanks for the bump!

I just realized that I posted that, thanks for pointing that out.

What I meant was

I had the motor checked out before I brought it home, with intentions of installing it in my car.

Also: I pulled my old motor today and I will be installing my B18C this week, so I guess its not really on the market any more. Too bad, you waisted all that effort flaming my thread and I'm keeping the motor.

Just a little sarcasm because the OP got his panties in a bunch when people started asking questions and becoming skeptical when the seller got his own thoughts mixed up.

I don't give a damn about what he said, but when people cruize for sale threads looking for typo's or errors and call them out, they shift the attention on the thread to arguing like were doing now. Thats all I was saying.

So STFU

also, this is my Girlfriends name...so it's not really gay.

Unless "Girlfriend" is her name, that does not make it a proper noun, and thus has no reason to be capitalized. Furthermore, it's still gay.

Being that I have no life, and beyond that, nothing better to do, I would like to point out the fact that you have one more misspelled word and two punctuation errors. To help you out I put them in bold. The first would should be spelt "cruise" and the second word that is out of context should be "we're" (you know, we are), the third should be that's or that is. Just thought I would continue to help you and your grammar become a little more smarterer.

I believe what you're trying to convey is that H22 QT needs to work on his contractions?

That has been the point I have been trying so desperately to make. Who would trust anyone that keep his thoughts clear and concise that they would be willing to drop cash on some motor? I sure as hell would not want to buy it.
So, from going to be "for sale", to "off the market", now it's for sale again? This guy is ruining his shot to sell anything on honda-tech!
I bet your girl is already cheating on you. . .
