Default Brand New Type-S!

Well I've been saving for the past 4 months for my down payment and I went to the dealership today and finally bought an 06 Type-s. NBP with foglights And I paid only $500 over invoice I know there are a lot of brand new FG owners on here, but i've wanted a DC5 since they came out... The bad part is it wont be here for another week and a half. Its still on a boat from Japan! Ill have pics as soon I pick her up!

Yea, I was actually going to get an 06 Si, but I just love the look of the type-s, plus it has leather and is just a lil more luxurious... I wasnt worried about price, I just wanted to get a car that was going to give me everything that I needed.. Im already shopping for parts!!

for an rsx black is a bitch to keep clean. scratches are very noticible. are u planning on doing performance mods? the fogs are gonna be in the way of the cai if you do get a cai.

Nice. I don't have one regret for getting mine. I still look at it everytime I park and think how badass it looks, at least to me.

I purchased the protective film coating along with scratch and chip cover. It comes with a 5 year warranty. Its getting put on right after it gets off the truck and gets detailed. Once the film goes on the car, I wont even have to wax it (so I dont need toworry about the swirl marks). The only thing I have to do is wipe it off with a wet towel. But I know what you mean about the swirl marks, I was doing my research, that was the main reason why I was leaning toward VBP.. But the clear finish takes care of that

As far a performance mods go... Tein SS coilovers first, Injen CAI, Comptech header (dont wanna deal with the check engine for the DCRH) ESMM, sticky tires, and maybe a Hondata Reflash... yes the fog lights will cover up the CAI, but that can be taken care of whenever I take it to the track (rarely). I can just take it out.

congrats on your new purchase. I know you'll love the car. One of my first mods was a drop also.

Well since i've had nothing but time to think about what mods to do, I've made a list! haha ( I know, but I sit in front of a computer all day and have nothing but time to think about what to get from CRSX.com)

1. Tein SS coilovers (camber kit) and front type-s badge
2. Injen CAI
3. Ingalls Torque Dampner
4. Hondata IMG
5. Sticky Rubber
6.Comptech Shorty Header
7. Comtech Exhaust

Goal - VERY low 14's, maybe high 13's (its been done before)
My plan is to get all this stuff within 3 months (after the car is broke in of course). Thats if I can keep selling as good at my job as I have been...
