US DC2 TAILS VS. JAPANESE TAILS???

US DC2 TAILS VS. JAPANESE TAILS???
I know that the Japanese spec tails have the amber while the newer us tails are all red but besides that are there any differences, maybe in lighting? Any 411 will help. Thanks.

special taillights were never made specifically for the type r..
there is a difference between jdm and usdm.. in that the jdm tails do not have a hole for the small bulb for the very outside of the lights.. and.. see picture below..
