The look is what got me. I saw one not too long ago, and it resembled a baja bug with huge wheels sticking out the sides. Absolutely ugly.

I have however seen a set of 16s on this guy's hatch, and it looked really good. I think 16 is max, but most people go for 15. With 15 you cant go wrong.

I have 17s on mine... they are to heavy.. and they rub like a mother.. but thats just because its tucking, when i had my H&R sport springs on it, it only rubbed when the wheels were turned to there fullest.

so im going to 15s.. i think i may go 195/50/15... but we'll see

17" wont rub on efs! the only reason it rubs is because people are beening stupid about it, like lowing 3in or they buy used rims that was for a rwd car and put onto a FWD (-offset)!
the max u can put on it 18in(215/35/18)which is what i had on my civic with eiback sportline! and NO it doesnt look like a 4x4 and NO its not anything heavier than any stock 15in steelies

I had 16's that were like 47lbs with tires. Put 15" slips on it and its like driving a while different car.

i have 16" and i dont rub but if i was to fix the camber in the rear then i would rub cause i got the coilovers down down as low as it can go and wheel and tire weighs bout the same as steelies

Yes he can do 5 lug, and I would steer him away from 17's. They can be done but they look terrible and the ride is like that of a 4wd Pickup. I would suggest 15's but that is my opinion.
