I would think dropping the engine a little from the bottom will allow you do the valve cover

You would lower the engine by removing the mounts from chassis and lowering the subframe a bit, it would need to be on a lift with a flat trans jack under it to travel the span of the subframe

The cowl comes off as one piece in the middle. You have to remove the cowl to work on any part of the exhaust side of the engine. Cowl comes off, then coils, then cover.

you beat me to it, working for Honda that was the first thing i looked at when we got a new Si in was how to take the valve cover off. No need to drop the motor down. the whole wiper assm and cowel has to come off.

to play off your question which valve cover would you need to use the DC5/EP3 one or the TSX one since I thought our head had the TSX design being bigger it would need that valve cover

Sounds like a big rice-*** waste of time to me. What's wrong with the stock valve cover? Exactly.

Just remember once you take the top plastic cowl off. You still have to unbolt the bottom metal cowl piece.

Why wash your car, it doesn't make it faster or run better. Or maybe *gasp* someone does something so their car will....... look good!
