lol eh...I'm pretty happy with them. My heads milled .020 so maybe that helped them a little more

The build from my old car ... stock bottom end b16 with S2S2 cams and some other stuff. All tuning done by Jack at P1.
Thats a good lookin graph but the #'s are low. Did you have a header or anything on that?

You did take note that this was done on a Mustang Dyno, correct? An estimate of Dynojet numbers puts it around 180ish and 112ish at the wheels. Seems like a good end result to me without going into the bottom end. *shrug*
It had a TODA header, RM valvetrain, ITR stuff, etc. If anyone's interested I can list it all.

Not too bad at all. WOuld you mind listing the specs?

No prob.
Stock '00 b16 bottom end (40k miles on the clock), Comptech Icebox, ITR intake arm with K&N drop-in filter (Integra OEM replacement), RPM services TB (70-66mm), ITR IM, 5th gen Prelude injectors (290cc), '01 ITR head (OEM P&P) milled .020", RM gen 1 valvesprings and gen 2 retainers, AEBS headstuds, Mugen HG, ST Corsa cam gears, Skunk 2 Stage 2 cams, OEM timing belt, all accessories (PS, A/C, etc.) intact and functioning), TODA header, SMS test pipe, K-Teller 2.5" exhaust with 18" resonator and 5x8 Magnaflow muffler (stock Si tip for the sleeper look), Apex-i Power FC.
The build was done by me and some friends. I brought it to Jack to work out a couple of bugs (had the exhaust gear advanced a tooth when we put the belt back on) and to do all the tuning. The car was a blast to drive and I still do miss it at times. It idled great with a nice little lope from the cam gear overlap. Just cruising around it was almost as quiet as stock, but at WOT is screamed like no other.

Yeah I see that, but a difference in 23 whp just by changing dyno's?? Thats a little far fetched I think. I mean, I know the Mustang's read low, but not that low.

what were your CR numbers?
im trying to do the same thing...stock block b16...flat faced valves...head milled only .005...still debating whether to go single or double layer hg cuz i dont know if the single layer will clear...but skunk recommends atleast 11:1 CR for these cams and my motor stock only makes 10.2:1...now according to the comp. calculator the 2 layer hg,milled head, and .3 bump for the valves should get me 10.9...do u think i will be ok with that number? the first time i dynoed this car with crushed header, stock redline, and 3 layer hg i made a pitiful 140 whp 116 tq...since then i have corrected my errors by chipping my ecu to allow me to rev higher, opening up the exhaust to 2.25 inch piping from stock manifold...and going with the thinner hg...well i still havent installed the thinner hg yet...still debating on going with the 2 layer or 1 layer... but if u guys think ill be straight with 10.9 cr when they say 11 is the minimum ill just go with the 2 layer...tuning withvafc so ill only be reving to 9k

im still thinking your over caming it you still might want to stay with stg1 cams

i already have the cams...unless i can find someone to trade me sum stage 1s for the twos im gonna use em...
B16B stock bottom end 11.2 cr with pro 1 cams I pulled 167hp and 108tq on a mustang dyno. It will take me a couple days to get the plot for you though.

There are deffinitley differences in dynos and some can be VERY drastic. It is usually a percentage like mentioned.. so the more you make the more it is off.
I have a local dyno that is around 15-20 hp lower than another local dyno. With plenty of cars to show the big differences.. and guess what they are both dynojets.
Numbers are just that.. track times and track speeds are the end factor. Dynos are tools.
Looks like strong B16s though.

sir2 stock block, s2s2's, skunk2 valvesprings and retainers, 65mm tb, hondata s200 untuned, and you can tell it wants to be reved higher. I need to have it tuned

No offense but you can keep your two cents. It was never tuned for this engine. Im running the same tune that I used on my ls/vtec
I ran it open header on these runs too, with my worldsport catback it still made 170whp and 114wtq. Doubt me if you want, I have better things to do then sit on the internet and make **** up

nice numbers 96Spec EK...hoping to make something similar with my set-up......did you run a 3 layer oem HG or an aftermarket thinner one?
I've never had the engine apart. So Im assuming its an oem 3 layer. It was originally from a automatic car too so Im guessing it wasn't beat on like a 5 speed engine might have.
I didnt degree the cams in but I did play with the cam gears a little and set them at 0 intake,+2exhaust. I dont know if this is what you are asking or not.
