if you're pretty knowledge of compatibility ...help me out for a bit.
i know this isn't the correct forum but i swear the accord forum is of hardly any help. D-series transmissions all compatible right so:
are all the F series transmissions compatible? i have a 00 Lx sedan accord and i have an automatic transmission. i would like ot replace it with an automatic transmission from a 90-93 or a 94-97. will it work? thanks

yeah... all the B fit each other... besides hydraulic vs cable... D series, ...why not the F series?

Thats only 1 F. And thats F20C
For the accord transmissions i believe there is different sensors during the obd change. Other then that it will fit right on.

Cable or hydro doesn't mean anything in terms of how it bolts up. Still bolts up just the same, just the clutch mech. is obviously different.

I think automatic honda transmissions got a computer on the tranny. There might be some wiring issues.
Automatic honda trannies are like wankel engines. Fucken weird.

Any F-series or H-series tranny will BOLT on, though how it works is a case by case thing. The S2000 tranny will BOLT on, though it wont actually drive the car because its facing the wrong way. You may have to do the wiring manually yourself.
D series not all compatible. four speed tranny has different amount of splines than five speed so ther could be a difference in f series but I doubt it.

That doesn't mean that changing the clutch won't resolve the problem. Its still "compatible" with different engines.
