Dude, the seats are a direct bolt in, i have some in my car, 4 bolts per seat, 10 minitue install.
If you bought civic seats, they will not bolt in without modification.

you have to swap the bottom seat pans on you stock seats. I had to when I installed mines in my 90 HF.

idk i was under the impression that all crx chassis had the same seat bolt pattern, but i do know for a fact the civic si seats are way off... maybe somebody thre civic seat bottoms on them and had the seats in a civic for some weir reason

you miight wanna try switch the d/s and p/s seat rails first maybe them being from a rhd drive car has something to do with it it should only take 10 min to switch the rails

Yeah it sounds stupid but I did that when I swapped out my 90-91 Si seats for some JDM SiR seats They wouldn't fit at all so all I did was do a seat pan swap. Do that and it might do the trick.

The differences in seat pans and models corresponde with the seat belts on the door or jam. If you have a 88 Si/Dx/HF or 89HF you can do a direct swap. If not then you must change the seat pans. A small pain in the ***, but easy enough for anyone to do.

Yeah..I had thought about swapping out the bottom pans of the seats. I tried fitting the sir seats onto my usdm brackets but it doesn't line up. i had the seats in the right posisions too. can you like buy universal sparco brackets and make them fit on that? and i did like the idea of switching the bottoms of the seats.

Thanks I really do appriciat this.

The bolt pattern is not the same for all years and models. Just swap the bottom seat pans. Take the fabric off and and foam cushion out then re-apply the fabric with ZIP TIES.

I do have pics on my digital camera but I cant get them onto my coputer.
I have to get my other computer back to do that. will the bottoms of the
usdm seats bolt right up to the jdm seats ( the black pan peace on the bottom of the seats )? If thats so I may just get more usdm brackets and just do that.
have any of you guys acually done this?
