do i have to put my car in the shop striped and they just paint everything or can i do it still intackt with stuff still in the car like my dash and stuff
all i need is where the rear seat use to be painted and looking like that

i dont want it gold i have a silver ek its more a question about painting it
soo i do have to take out my interior dash and crap
you cant put up a whole tarp deal to block off the front all i want is to paint where the spare use to be and also where the rear seats use to be thats all
i know i have to take all the rear interior byt do i have to take off everything is my question
and there are pad like metterial on randomly everywhere what is that and how do i get it off
also there is a thing sticking up to divide the useto be rear seats soo how do i go about removing that to?
any help is apreciated

the thing that sticks up to hold the rear seats you have to drill the spot welds out

it freezes it so the sound deading material breaks off in chunks and comes off more clean

ehh, i did it the hard way and used a hammer and a chizel, then paint thinner with a scotchbrite and i came out good, some of the stuff ( under driver and front passengers feet, and under the rear seat.)came off like a big sticker(peeled right off).

+ 1. Flat head screw driver and a hammer with an extra 45 minutes to an hour of time to kill. my stuff came off clean too.

word to the wise..use real auto paint when shooting the interior..i did rattle can garbage and it chips EASY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

save yourself the headache and get it done right homie!!

can i get it pro done but still keep the front interior in like the dash and the front side pannels.
i will deffenentally take out the seats and the carpet.
what would you estimate this will cost to do.
or what did you pay to get it done not done by a spray paint can

I'm pretty sure if you just take the carpet out they can shoot the back without gettin overspray on the dash.

I would hope so. I didnt even care about the paint because I'll probably respray my whole car or rubber liner the interior and it still came out fine for me.

You can get dry ice at any major supermarket, I used to work at an Albertsons and we had tons of it. So did the Fry's across the street.

jdmej20 did it in his 240sx but none of his pics are showing up.
