Default 2001 Prelude question on oil...5 gen Help

Hey guys, I have a 2001 Prelude SH, and I want to know whats the best Mobile 1 oil I can use for it? (15w30, 10w30, 15w50...etc) People say climate makes a difference so I live in West Palm Beach Florida, hot and humid. I dont need to pass emissiosn either.

Your owner's manual specifies 5W30 as the preferred weight - I believe it gives you the option of 10W30 if you live in a warmer climate, but this is an option - not a requirement or even a recommendation.

I use 10W30 in summer because I have less oil consumption with it. 5W30 is like water, good for winter, but unnecessary if you live in a warm climate.

I used to use 5W30 and my lude loved to eat it up. I had no problems with it, but did have enough consumption that I felt the need to check it every once in awhile. You should be checking it anyway... no matter what you use.
