i have an 00 LS auto.. the tranny is busted from the outside.. i have here a 94 LS tranny both AUTOMATIC.. NOW the 94 LS has a manual KICK down cable in the front.. also has 2 selonoids.. the 00 LS DO NOT have the cable.. only 2 additional selionoid total of 4 selonoids.. now my question is... if was to use the 94 LS tranny on that 00 LS car would that work?? do i need that cable and where does it goes? do i also need the 94 LS ECU? and last but not least do all the 00 LS tranny parts fit on the 94 LS tranny?? guys i need major help so anything to experience knowlege or suggestions will be very very help full.. thanks..

 

ok man i am going to try and help as much as i can. i recently did some tranny work myself and even tho my work was based on a LS manual tranny and a 2000 Type R manual tranny i was surprised to find that most of the parts were interchangable so i think that you should be fine with that part. but now with ur cable tranny and your hydraulic tranny i believe that if you are trying to put the 94 tranny in you will have some mods to make but im sure u can do it

 

its a not a cable tranny just the kick down cable.. but it is both hydro.. will i be needing the 00 LS torque converter or will the 94 wrk just fine.. please a brother out.. thanks..
