I tried searching but didn't come up with much so here is my question.

Does anyone know if a 90-91 CRX SI front lip will fit an 88-89 CRX SI front bumper? I ordered one for my car (89 CRX SI) but Honda sent me the one for the 90-91.
My car is in storage so it's a little complicated to test fit it. If someone can tell me it doesn't fit for sure, I'll return it to Honda on Monday.

I was thinking the same thing. Anyone else know for sure?

 

I fitted the 89 lip on my 91 with no mod. So, I think it would be no problem in reverse.

 

I guess I'll just have to drive out to the area that my car is stored and test fit it. Looks like it's the only way that I'll know for sure.

Thanks guys. It took my Honda dealer 3 months to get this lip in and I really don't want to wait that long for the other one if they can get it at all.

Half the people I talk to tell me it doesn't and the other half say it does.

 

You can pretty much count out the 2005 and 2006 posters that say no it won't fit.
