Out of about half a dozen Hondas I've owned, my '87 HF was BY FAR the handling champ. I mean the others couldn't even come close. Light weight + lowered....the thing was on rails.

Unfortunately they're carburated so an engine swap was more trouble than it was worth for me (and more than I knew how to do).

The other thing that sucks about doing B-series swaps into these cars is the sheer cost of the mount kit (~$700). If I could get a kit for less, I would drop my GSR motor into one of these cars in a split second. After all, the cars themselves are dirt cheap.

For what i can say about first gens, is that they have even less rigid body than gen two. The gen2's arent the stiffest around neither.

But never the less, the B18 + first gen would rock.
