Default D2 36-Way Adjustable Full Coilovers

I'm looking to buy suspension for my S2000 and I was looking to see if anyone has or ever dealt with D2 36-Way Adjustable Full Coilovers.

Many S2K owners have used D2 coilovers. From what I have read they are pretty good for suspension that's no too expensive. Depending on what type of driving you plan to do, i.e. track, drag, auto x vs daily driven street car, you may want to consider something else.

from what i hear they are cheap...cheap to buy that is

not many say how they ride, or how the build quality is because not many s2k's are running them...

I have a set, I would be willing to trade for stock. If you are located in the SE.

I have the D2 setup. I like it but I would say that the spring rate is not setup for street. I have my shocks set at 18 (f) and 20(r) and that is pretty much your only bet for getting as close to stock bounce and roll. Softer gets a lot of rolling bounce after a bump and stiffer gets you a crushed spine. Quality is good though.

Also it is more like infinitaly adjustable. There are no "click" settings. Rather you just turn it to the oil drop. It actually turns 7 full times (38) but 3 on each side are not usable as it will damage the shock. So you could set it at 18.5 or 18.3352938.

I am taking them tracking next weekend. I'll let you know how they do.

You should run the Buddy Club N+SPECS man, they rde really nice. They retail for about 1180 i believe, but im pretty sure u can get it for less then that from local speedshops. i have a good lead on them, PM me about it. late

I also been looking at Koni Yellows with Ground Controls for street use. Is anyone running this setup and has no complaints.

Groub Buy on S2ki? We actually had a meet to discuss the possibilities of these, because webestore wanted some inputs. I went with Apex N1 coils, and paid less that the GC/Koni combo.

Hard choice to choose from between Buddy Club N+ or Koni Yellows with Ground Controls. Street use only.

Good for autocross and mild track use also.

I got a hell of a deal on some Apexi N1 ExV coilovers, and I can't say enough good things about them.

One thing that worries me is here in Mass. the road aren't the greatest. If I buy a full coilover set what happens if I blow a shock or something. How would I return it? How long would it take to get a new one? What it the company goes out of business?

I know it's stupid question but something I have to think about were I live and roads really suck.

Why do you say this? Do you have direct experience with D2's? Do or did you own them and have them go bad on you or have another experience with them that was bad? Oh wait let me guess... Your friend did right? Or you just read some thread on HT and what ever you read on HT is the absolute and final truth right?

If you don't have anything to contribute, STFU and GTFO.
