Hi guys,
I have an ITR and recently i changed all gearbox bearings including diff bearings.I still hear this humming noise when accelarating and when i release the throttle pedal ,and the car is in engine break also makes the noise.
I changed also the intermediate shaft bearing and still there is this annoying humming.
Is there someone thaty had my same problem please?

 

did you change the throwout bearing also?

 

could be ur wheel bearing.

 

Yes the throw out brg is new

Can that noise be the wheel brg?

 

my roomates audi a4 made a humming noise exacly how u described and he changed the wheel bearing. that fixed it.

 

Thanks alot,tomorrow i go to buy both front wheel bearings and replace them.

Today i changed the drivers side and the humming reduced but still there.I'm going to change the other one too to be sure and let you know guys. Thanks
