Default what is the best ignition setup to buy

when i first started building my gt35r b18c i had planned to use msd products, but as it turns out theyre ******* garbage, im most likely going to be using the oem ignition system, but is there anything better that i can get where i wont have to replace rotors and plugs every other week. i want a really reliable ignition setup cuz it will be street driven almost everyday at around 400-450whp on pump gas.

You can do a COP ( coil on plug) ask Tony1 he will help you, I think.

Damn reliable my Honda V6 has OEM COP. Just get a good reliable signal by using flying Magnet (hall effect sensor) or Optical.

If you are going to upgrade, go with the M&W. Just purchased mine and am planning on having great success with it. I had the bone stock ignition on my car making 654whp; however, I was changing my plugs every other run at the track. I'll let you know how it works. I'll have it running the car by the end of this month. The car will be at the track with it by mid-March.

i think it's just like the MSD stuff...just doesn't break...all the time

i'm still wondering about that MSD billet dizzy...it's a pretty penny....but i have yet to find anyone that actually has it on a street car and that has used it for awhile

i'm tried of being MSD's tester....but it..it's new
then it breaks..and then they give you **** about warrenting it

i hate companies that release products that aren't rdy yet....ya let the cusumer test ur products for you....it's fawkin bs

No not really. There is a way but its a huge wast of money. Better off going with a ECU with individual coil drivers, the stock ECU only has 1.

So, how much is the stock ignition good for without having to change rotors every few hard runs?

How much are the M&W setups?

$800 is a bit extreme for us normal people that only like to run pump/race gas, lol.
