Default crx type r

I have a problem my friend has a crx type r he called me and told me if i wanted the car i said yea ill buy it of you so he sold it to me for 1500 he only drove it 4 times well he wired every thing up and got the obd0 tp obd 2 converstion but it has a little bog to it and vtec kicks in around 6200 RPM its quick even though it has a bog to it but i was wondering has anyone had that problem With there crx-R
i got the car dirt cheap the motor its self cost him 5000 i was there when he droped the motor in a year ago and he only pulled it out 4 time thru that year cuz he never fixed that problem asnd again i only got the car for 1500 im not losing he did

1500 for a type r crx? you sure its a type r? is it a b18c5?

Get good engine management and go to a tuner with a dyno. If you just want to see what the problem is go to a dyno that has a wideband, you will learn alot.

Yea im sure its a type r i was there a year ago when i called hmototrs and told them what motor he wanted
