It is about as fast as it was in the same topic thread you posted 30 before this one.

Maybe you should watch motor week a couple more times before posting this thread again....

so you want to pay 40grand for a car that has the same interior as the 10k$ car its based on and constantly blow transmision parts out the side of the case... sounds like a plan to me

dunno... most people cant drive and blow em all to **** which on an evo or an sti means lots and lots of $$

but i mean... ****, the interior is 90% the same as the base evo's, sti's are a little nicer, but not 40000$ worth of nice

True that ... just like people who eat through clutches... It's not the clutch it's YOU!

LOL. I'm pretty sure my running slicks, 6-puck, and Me combination did my wonderful GSR tranny in. You live, you learn.

If you see an STI or Evo MR witha bustered gear box then its a factory defect, now a WRX and early 5 speed Evo's those tranys are like glass. But you can't kill and STI or Evo MR gear box easily.

Just bought my girlfriend an '06 STI out the door for $32K.

300hp/300tq, 6 speed, adjustable LSD's, all-wheel drive, huge brakes... 5 year warranty... what a ripoff!

this thread got way off topic,

evos and stis are cool...if you got lots of $...remember bought not built...

to go 10 flat in a evo final price $40,000+
to go 10 flat in a hatch $7,000+

being a full time student i will go the honda route...

Just got my subcription in the mail. They said a new si went 14.8 @ 96mph. I would say that's damn good for a stock fwd Honda. Add some bolt-ons and D/R's and I'm certain it'll go high 13's.

Not to go way off topic, but you're not going 10.0 in a Civic for $7K (or at least for more than 1-2 passes).
