ZC Swap Distributer
the damn search wont let you use "ZC" cause it's too short of a term so i get to ask instead :/
gettin parts together for a ZC Swap on my crx and i'm using fourthgenhatch.com as my howto but i got confused with the way he wrote it up, his page says this:
Distributor Cap and Rotor
-ZC Distributor: I KNOW '88-'91 Civic/CRX Si one will work
-'89 Integra/D16A1 Distributor, use cap and rotor from that Distributor
does that mean that i should just use the dizzy, cap, and rotor from a d16a1 or the dizzy from the crx si and the cap and rotor from the a1?
and i know i don't have to replace it if it isn't bad but i still need to know right?
TIA -
edit: did the 89 teg have the a1? does it matter?
later the howto says:
Distributor
'89 Integra
I keep posting and answering my own questions a few minutes later

if the ZC is DOHC, you need 88-89 Integra distributor - if it is SOHC, non- VTEC, you need the 88-91 Civic/CRX Si, CRX HF or 90-91 Civic EX distributor
