VERY little detail here....what is your car? what is in it now? what are your goals? If you answer these your responses will be faster and probably more precise.

i have the jdm type R motor, dc header, aem intake, and cat back exhaust. I wanna build a good drag car, but I dont want to go turbo. to many stories around where i live of engines blowing and catching on fire after put a turbo on.but i like to supercharge it. i would like to around 250 to 300 hp. if possible.

You will NOT make that power NA....or let me correct myself, it's UNLIKELY that you'll make that power and not spend a extravagant amount of money. If it's that typ of power you want to make, make sure the motor is in good shape and throw a aftermarket turbo KIT made SPECIFICALLY for the car and that comes with EVERYTHING on it. This will make your power goals for the least amount of money and BS. good luck.

I noticed above you said you didn't want to go turbo...supercharging isn't a BAD idea, it's just limited in it's power...therefore, to some it might be a bad investment for the power you're after. You're only other choice is a healthy shot of nitrous....
