they prevent the chassis from flexing during cornering, get a front and rear and you will feel a difference.

Can you leave the stock GSR strut bar and still get like a Mugen bar?

I've used generic ebay ones before and it works fine. The critical part is that you buy one that's not too flimsy or else it will flex during turnin which negates the point of the strut bar in the first place. I notice a significant difference in my old civic and not much of a difference in my 240sx with coilovers.

I bought a front knock-off type R bar off ebay and I swear my car feels different (this is a solid type that bolts to where the type R and GSR bars attach). I'd suggest getting a solid one vs the kind w/pivot points. You can find both types on ebay.

i perfer neuspeed products, and i recommend staying away from the cheap ebay ones, they have a tendancy to break and are a waste of money. if you are concerned with price, try shopping used either at the honda market place or ebay.

It all depends on how well they are made.
Thats why the eGay ones are like 1 cent, cause they are cheap.
On the other hand you got the Mugen ones which cost like $200...
It all depends on quality...gotta pay the cost to be the boss...
