The Loathing I have for Honda of America
Ok, I was just on the Honda UK site, and why the crap don't we get a 5-door civic!?!?. WTF, I mean really. I feel like the only thing that can redeem Honda now is to get the Fit into dealers ASAFP. Either that or bring the CRX back for real, not this reincarnation BS (like the Insight "kind of" looked like the Rex) but the real model. grrrr.
Sorry, had to rant, flame if you will

wanna know why? who the HELL would buy it? its beyond gay looking. Are you european? In america, a civic is a very small car, opposed to a "family hatchback". We got the Fit coming in a few months, chill.
End vent, and its ok, i understand ya gotta rant.

And I feel bad for the owners of those cars.

the fit is nice . . also the new cr-x would look nice if it had a similar body but just a little bit of curves would be okay to me & keeping it original as a 2-seater . .

I agree completely. If Honda had not dropped the ball they would have such a lead in the sport compact market that the others would have folded by now. Instead we now have 15 year olds running around the suburbs in EVOs, RX8s, and WRXs. And Honda just now realizes what customers have been doing to its cars for 10 years and offeres a K-series in a Civic. Except now there is the extra 1,000 lbs they added.
Honda better get back to its roots and stop listening to what Maroon 5 and kids in Ohio want. I swear sometimes I think Honda is trying to turn itself into Toyota as fast as it can. It's pretty ironic that, with the exception of the S2k, my favorite car company has not made one car in the last 6 or so years that I have even considered buying. I'm willing to bet that I am not the only one either.

Nothing against Ohio. Ohio has some very pretty girls. My point is just that Honda should design their Japanese cars in Japan, not keep making them bigger and more appealing to Americans. JDM influenced cars were what fell in love with to begin with. Not Honda Cavilers and Neons.

Well except for all the buckeyes who come over here to Indiana and find themselves in front of me doing 15 under, nothing at all.

I want a Tsx...or does your statement exclude Acura? I really do kinda wish they would have an:
a) AWD car that doesn't weigh 8000 lbs and cost $60k
b) a stock turbo dohc RSX or TSX
c) A chassis design that would allow K series to be easily transported to the civics
They still have some time to redesign their cars because Subaru makes UGLY cars, Mitsubishi makes stuff that likes to break and Mazda is owned by Ford, so its bound to be crapped on one way or another.

Honda DOES want to be Toyota, cause Toyota sells more cars. There a business, and to me, seems there sellin out with...there Turbo RDX, and ugly RDXness, and heavy cars and macphearson strut to save a few bucks,.....bring back the ****** double wishbone!

The 5 door Civic might not do all that bad, you see a decent number of 5 door Foci (plural for Focus?) on the road.

I don't mean to be a dick by doing this, but I have to, because u got all technichal...
Technichally in terms of english symantecs, it would NOT be foci, it would be "focuss" - it wouldn't be the plural of focus because unlike the word focus (to zoom in or out), focus is a name in this situation, therefore cannot be pluralized. It's technichally an impossible word because a name isn't gramatically incorrect to have pluralization, example: if a person was last named: johnson, then if you were to say "all johnsons", that isn't correct, the correct way, unfortunetely would be to say "all the members of the johnson family" So if you really wanted to say it right you'd have to go with the very bulky and gay sounding way of "you see a decent number of 5 door cars with a model name of 'focus' driving around?" There may be other ways but I can't think now...
Yeah, I'm really sorry to shine it on ya like that......no grudge plz O.O
