Swaping lx front brakes to v6 front brakes
i have a 94 accord lx 1.6l and its time for a brake job, i have a 1995 v6 accord and the brakes are bigger. can i change the spindels over, will they work? do i need a bigger master cylinder, if anyone has ever done this let me know what i have to do thanks.
didn't know '94's came w/ 1.6 litre engines. Thought they were 2.2 litres.
Anyway. if you want the v6 5th gen brakes will fit on the i4 spindles, you will need to have the v6 caliper brackets for the spacing to be correct.

you will need 15" wheels and all you have to so is swap in the V6 front brake parts. You don't need to change the MC or porporting valve even if you upgrade the rear brakes as well.
my fault i ment 2.2l i was just gunna save time and swap the whole spindel, thats do-able right, but the master cylinder i won't have to change cause of the bigger calipers??
you are better off getting the V6 knuckle with all of the parts attached to it. it will bolt right up.
