1988 Civic HB STD Las Vegas, Nevada
Back on the market due to "spousal issues", don't ask I just need the money.
$200 for EVERYTHING
What you see here is a 1988 Honda Civic Hatchback, Standard. The engine installed in the vehicle is a DPFI D15B1 with a 4 speed manual transmission. The engine is original to the vehicle, and the chassis and engine have an approximate mileage count of 255,000. I have the title in my name, it is clean with no issues with the local DMV. I have additional console parts also available with negotiation from a 1989 Civic DX SE HB, it is the same as the special edition EDM full console that reaches from the e-brake to the climate controls (aka a dealer option that not many USDM Civics got).
The engine does not run and has the following problems: Timing belt requires replacement, head gasket requires replacement, wire harness requires repair/replacement. I personally would recommend a full swap, and this vehicle is a great opportunity for just that purpose!
I was originally going to make this a Daily Driver with a great gas sipping D15Z1 engine/transmission. This particular D15Z1 is from a non-California emissions 1993 Civic VX, and comes with throttle cable, long-block, intake, exhaust, and hydraulic transmission. The ECU is not available at this time, having already been sold when I acquired it.
Since the vehicle does not run, purchaser must pick up themselves, I would recommend a tow truck for legal reasons as the car has no plates or insurance at the moment. Shipping is at the purchaser's expense, PM for details.
