Starting My 4 Year long project 1991 CRX Si
I got my crx about five years ago, it was all stock except for some tokiko springs and ground control coilovers, the motor was clean and nothing was done to it. i kinda wish i would have left it that way, but i went thru a phase where all i wanted to do was "fix" my car up, stupid teenage mind of mine. I put it in the garage for about a year, and its ready to come back in full effect, 2 ZCs later, i went with a B16 that i got off my friends tottaled hatch for 400 dollars. now its time to start Fixing what time has done to my poor baby.... if anyone can tell me how to post pics, i would gladly do it to show you the OG CRX, and what it has become....and what the future will do for it....thanks
1 way of posting pictures is by uploading them from a site, like we-todd-did-racing.com which is what i use, you just click the insert image button, which is yellow, and copy and paste the url of the site that the picture is on, and ur good to go
there we go
that was when i got it back when i was 19
Then i blew my first ZC Motor because i didnt tighten the Rotor screw tight enough, it came loose on my way to santa barbara, and blew the **** out of it, so thats when i started to learn more about the rex.

then i got a second zc because of my budget, Hmotorsonline.com, let it go for 580, with zc tranny halfshaft, and RSR header, i figured it was a good deal

after some cleaning...

and the half hour it took to take the half ZC out

a few beers, some wrench time and a few hours later, it was in.

Here it is all washed up, with my stock Si Rims...

and it stayed like that for a couple years after,
my zc never ran strong due to lack of money for a new clutch, and well basically just lack of money, it sucks when you gotta work hard for **** u know?? but i guess thats how we learn to appreciate small things in life...atleast im not one of those punk kids whos parents get them everything...well not a kid anymore.
Finally saved some cash for some 2000 Si Rims, MINT condition...

About over a year ago, my friend was comming home from San Jose, when a piece that connects to the Rear Lower Control arm broke off the frame, the car was useless, but it had a b16 in it....i figured, what the hell...he gave me a good deal, 400 bucks, place racing motor mounts, shift linkage, axles, ecu. it had a broken V-tech solinoid switch, and wasnt really taken care of as much as i would...but for 400 whos gonna complain?

then it was ready to get some VTEC Power

since then, ive added an Exedy Clutch, Skunk 2 short shifter, Spoon sports shiftknob, Fluydine Radiator, DA front Hub knuckles, Brembo Rotors, OEM Break pads, B&M FPR, and guage, i have SiR guages, but dont know how to put them in, Type R valve cover, that will go on once i stop some leakage. thats pretty much it...
after the B16 and clutch was installed, i put it away for a year, got a 2003 ep3, and was working on getting alot fixed, because the Si Breaks and hubs were screwed up, so i just got it running about 2 weeks ago...more pics to come...thanks for readin my novel im just really excited
