worth fixin (bumper cover taken off.)
Oh yeah - fix it. If the radiator support isn't bent - fix it. Either way i would fix it. Mine was crushed like that also once upon a time - its fixed now though - paid about $1500 for everything - but mine was worse.

^^the radiator support is cleary bent. it is pushed back up to and on bottom and kinked a little on the passenger headlight. so yea, you will need a new front bumper, new bumper support, new radiator support, and new hood, and you will have to have somebody weld in the new sradiator support for you. with all that, i would still fix it, just because its a vtec
Hell ya it's worth fixing...atleast mine is to me, I'm going though the same thing just worst, jsut finished tacking the rad. support in today, still waiting on paint, it's going to cost a pretty penny but I can't live w/o my lude.

Bad Idea, Image the mess you would be in without a bumper support.

If he is concerned about cost over whether it is fixable or not he does not have to weld in a new rad support, it is not a structural piece, he should just hammer it back into a shape that does not put pressure on the radiator. It has happened to my civic and my accord and is nothing a $5 maul cant fix. The bumper support is easy just unbolt and get one from a junkyard, hood and bumper cover too. Total cost about $400 without paint.
mine looks much worse than that and im fixing it.

If you just spend the money and weld in a new radiator support theres a better chance the parts (headlights, etc) will line up better once you start putting everything back together. I know because when i got my car the rad support was slightly bent, and it wasnt enough to really notice, but i wish now that i had gotten a new one welded in because i had one hell of a time getting things to line back up. Just my 2 cents

Had similar damage to yours. $750 later...i got it to look SOMEWHAT decent. This is excluding a new front bumper cover and new hood and new baffers.

I dont know if you can see it TOO well...but the corner lights do not line up with the fenders well at all. Body shop told me that the baffers the fenders sit on are bent. Bad? Yes. But for the coming repairs it should all look normal again...minus the license plate holder i dont need.

I was just pointing out that if there is a concern about money eyeballing the straightening of the rad support will yield a fairly decent turnout. The owner before me got into three accidents with my accord and chained it to a tree to pull it out, it has since collected over 25,000 miles. It seems that this is a daily driver and it would be stupid to think that a car would be totalled due to that minor damage. Then again maybe it is totalled, i'll take it off your hands for you
