I don't have a TIG machine, but I do have a MIG & ss wire and was wondering how much it would cost to have someone TIG my MIG tacked "hot side" piping? This is basically only the y/up-pipe (v6 engine) & downpipe. I think at most, I looking at maybe 10 seams to be welded. How do you think someone should charge for this? Only 5 kits to start, so I'm starting to shop for rates. If it eats into my profit margin too much, I going to seriously think about getting a TIG system.

 

Anyone from here VERY good with a TIG near the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia (Winchester, VA/Leesburg, VA/Frederick, MD/Hagerstown, MD)? I just got shipping quotes to a few of you guys who have PM'd me and it's going to cost too damn much to ship out these parts ... I guess I'm now looking for a good fab shop in my area (Easter Panhandle of WV/Northern VA).
